Salt Bread ("Service") uses generative AI for some features, including reply suggestions, expression expansion, and text-to-speech (TTS). Handwriting recognition may use on-device AI.

Features that use generative AI

• Smart replies: Suggests reply phrases based on what the other person said (OpenAI, Google Gemini).
• Expression expansion: Refines your input into more natural phrasing (OpenAI, Google Gemini).
• Voice playback: Reads your text aloud with AI-synthesized speech (NAVER Clova).

Labeling and use

The app notifies you about AI use when you first launch it. AI features have a daily usage limit that resets at midnight. AI results are for reference only; you choose what to actually communicate.
